Just a quick entry to say that we are all having ton's of fun. I played Arkham Horror until the wee hours (3:30 this morning!) and so slept in a bit in order to be more or less coherent for the rest of the day.
Right now, Grace & Roscoe are neck deep in the best of many reasons to go to this con: The Miniature Dungeon Of Doom. This is a 30'X 30' three level mini dungeon (.5 inch = 1 foot) that has been enchanted so that all of the props and minis and such work like they are real. Even better, player characters (there are three parties of seven characters) and monsters are controlled via a spell that puts players in control of them. EVEN BETTER: you see, hear, smell, etc what your character does. The coolness of all of this is impossible to overstate.
I'm told that Grace is playing a Wild Magician and Roscoe is playing a Swashbuckling Thief.
Tonight at 8:00, Lily and I will be playing the above. I'll be a Barbarian Swordmaster and she'll be a Weretiger Mage. I'm told that one of the other players on our team is another Talking Cat, which is pretty damned rare since there are only 148 of them in the world. I'm talking Changed Talking Cats here, not the cats that came afterwards from talking to the Originals.
In other news, I'm about 25 minutes away from the live hookup with LoonyCon up on the L-5 Colony. There will be six of us at each con taking questions from the audiences at other con. This is always way fun and will be out there live on the net if you care to watch. I'll most likely post my fave questions and answers later.
And now, I'm off for a couple of corn dogs and a tall glass of iced tea before the Q&A. More con bloggage later.
