A Day for Resting Sore Feet and Drinking Fruit Juice

Roscoe, Scooter and I walked 26 miles yesterday. We were 4 miles from home when we all agreed that our feet were not gonna let us walk another step. Fortunately, this happened right by a bus stop. When the bus dropped us off at home, Roscoe and Scooter promptly fell asleep under the weeping willow. I managed to stagger into the house where Ben met me with a cold glass of water and then lead me to the hot tub. After a good soak, it was nap time on the Too Comfy Couch (so named because it is very big, very soft and very easy to fall asleep on, as most of our friends and relatives can attest to).

Later that evening, Grace and I watched the latest four episodes of "Our World Today". We especially liked the episode about the effects of the New Mountain Range on the ecology of the Australian outback. The rivers that flow off of them are really altering things fast. We need to go back Down Under soon.

Today, I am relaxing and reading ("Troll Myths & Legends" by Carlos Herrera) and drinking the most delish fruit juice combinations Annie can think of. Also, my green sweetie is gardening in the nude, so there's that to watch:)
