A Night for Some Serious Sleeping

So I stayed up until 2 in the morning dungeon crawling online (short review: we got bags o' loot on the first two levels, then got our asses handed to us on Level 3, where during a panicked run away from Slime Trolls, we fell into level 5! Game ended then.)

At 6:30 this morning, Ben wakes me up with "Wake up, Master Robert, you have poultry to deal with" and two hours later I'm with 14 neighbors and my dad processing (for you non farmers, that means killing, cleaning, picking and wrapping) 300 chickens and 200 ducks. That took 6 hours, after which I smelled like wet feathers. But what ya gonna do? Some things magic can't help ya with. At least now, Grace and I have 16 chickens and 12 ducks in the freezer.

To follow up that bit of fun, I showered, ate an early dinner and started reading "The Devil & Sherlock Holmes" (which is set in 1906 San Francisco and is a cracking good mystery). Later, after Grace got home from an all day canning and gossiping fest, we watched some old X Files episodes.

Now, I'm off to bed. I told Ben that I'm to not be awakened before 10 AM unless I'm on fire or the end of the world is imminent.
