A Very Lazy Day for Doing... Well, Nothing

It was a very lazy day hereabouts today. We didn't even have breakfast until nearly noon. After that it was lay about and read books...lay about and watch movies...lay about and play online games...lay about and nap...you get the idea.

Of course, tomorrow will be a regular busy day, since I have to work on a couple of projects, Grace has some charity work to do, Roscoe needs to polish the lecture he's giving at QuestCon on Friday and Lily...well, I'm sure she has things to do.

As mentioned above, Roscoe and I will be at QuestCon from Thursday morning until late Sunday afternoon. Both of us will be giving lectures, with his being "Online Gaming For Those Without Opposable Thumbs" and mine will be "Mining The Movies For Quest Ideas". I'm also on three panels: "You Got Humor In My Danger!", "Tips & Tricks For Faster Quest Design" and "The QuestWorld Year In Review". Roscoe is on two panels: "No Love For Terminator World" and "What I Should Have Done Differently". In that last one, Roscoe will no doubt recount how he might have avoided turning the slow zombies of "Zombie Apocalypse World: First Iteration" into fast zombies if he had just been in less of a hurry to get the diamond laser out of Professor Devlin's laboratory.

When not on panels or lecturing, we'll both be questing or eating or drinking (water or fruit juice for Roscoe, since he has gone on the wagon for awhile) or partying. No doubt Roscoe will also be surrounded by cute chicks who think he is "so cute" and want to rub his tummy and stroke his ears. Who knows, he may even meet up with a certain cute little corgi he met there last year:)

After QuestCon, we have about a week and a half or so before the whole family and friends are off to Japan for Kaiju Con. Sometime during that week and a half, we have work to do of various sorts and a wedding to attend.

This just in before I sign off: my loyal house elf Ben will be at QuestCon with me, since Grace has declared those 4 days to be "Female Time" at home, during which many women and females of other species will do and discuss things that we mere men would never understand.

I'm outta here. More bloggage later.
